The Role: The key aims of the role are: Lead the ODE safety engineering function (London), acting as line manager to subordinates. Provide input and support to bids/tenders/proposals and ensure timely achievement of engineering related deliverables. Conduct and when applicable lead large/medium safety engineering / loss prevention & reliability studies and analyses in support of project and/or consultancy scopes of work without guidance. Liaise with ODE AM HSE Management to provide input and support (including appropriate resourcing) to ODE AM Operations e.g. Safety Case inputs, risk studies to support ODE operations etc. Mentor and aid in the development of team members, conducting appraisals as directed by manager. Actively support Business Development in terms of both cross-discipline projects and safety engineering as stand-alone consultancy scopes of work.
