Fern Communications was formed in 2002. Since its incorporation Fern Communications has developed into one of the UK's premier offshore communications specialists, working both in Offshore Renewables and Oil & Gas.
We design and manufacture bespoke products for each market segment.
Wavecom is a cost-effective digital radio system, giving coverage to all existing wind farm sites and all future planned sites off the East Anglian coast. The system has been designed to give full radio coverage to offshore renewable sites off the East Anglian coast with the flexibility to interconnect with other radio systems, Marine and Airband, Wavecom can offer a total solution for offshore renewables, and can be expanded on and offshore giving coverage where ever needed.
